Aloe vera
A cactus like
plant, it thrives in a warm dry climate. The Aloe gel
is extracted from the leaf tip.
There are many
different species of Aloe, growing mainly in Asia, Europe,
America and Africa. Most commercial products containing
Aloe vera use Barbadensis Miller, which is the best
source of Aloe. This plant has the most positive healing
properties.
The gel extracted
from the Aloe vera plant has antibiotic and skin healing
capabilities. The plant leaf is full of nutrients, minerals,
amino acids and vitamins.
Using Aloe vera
has been seen to encourage new skin growth yet it still
remains gentle enough to be applied to burns and skin
